European copyright directive : reassurance of IT management framework ecosystem [sept 2018]

Adopted by the European Parliament on 12 September 2018, the directive of the European Parliament and of the Council on copyright in the Digital Single Market, among other economic and social impacts [1],  reassures the foundation of the various business models for copyrighted IT management framework.

Such frameworks are
  • ITIL®, by Axelos, UK ;
  • The Scrum Guide™, by Ken Schwaber(Scrum org, USA) and Jeff Sutherland (ScrumInc, USA) ;
  • IT Regime Management™, by Do-Khac Decision, France.
Their respective business models show variances, especially in the first links of the value chain. The business models might evolve over time to better meet client needs.

For exemples,
  • The Scrum Guide™ is released under a Attribution Share Alike license of Creative Commons.[2]
  • Early 2018, Axelos moved from a multiple accredited examinator policy to a "sole Examination Institute" policy [3].
  • As IT Regime Management™ roots into academical type work, a link "Academical organisations" could be added at the left end of the value chain [4].
